Age requirements
MemeMates is intended for users aged 18 and above. All users must be at least 18 years old. Accounts belonging to underage individuals may be terminated, and parents or guardians may request removal of accounts created by minors.
Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
MemeMates explicitly prohibits Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualization of minors, and any attempt to exploit or endanger a child.
CSAE content and conduct are banned on every surface of the product: memes, profiles, mood boards, stories, groups, comments, and chat. We will remove the material, terminate the account, and report CSAE to law enforcement and relevant child-protection authorities.
Report CSAE in the app or email mememates@persistventures.com. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
Zero-tolerance policy
We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for child exploitation and endangerment. Child sexual abuse material is prohibited and will be reported to law enforcement. Grooming, exploitation, or endangerment of minors may result in permanent account termination and legal action.
If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or law-enforcement authority first.
Prohibited content and behavior
The following are prohibited on MemeMates:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or targeted abuse.
- Nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit material.
- Hate speech or content promoting violence or discrimination.
- Impersonation or deceptive fake accounts.
- Spam, scams, fraudulent activity, or unsolicited commercial content.
- Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
Moderation and enforcement
Our in-app reporting tools help users flag violations. Reports may be reviewed through automated systems and human moderation.
Serious violations may result in immediate account suspension. Repeated or severe misconduct may lead to a permanent ban.
Emergency procedures
If you encounter content involving child exploitation or believe someone is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement immediately. You can also report the issue to MemeMates, and we will cooperate with appropriate authorities.
